Intro to Quilting
Are you brand new to sewing and would like to take a class to start off your quilting journey? Intro to quilting is the class for you. In this class we will go over setting up your sewing area, care of your machine, choosing and understanding the right fabric, needles, presser foot and thread for your project, rotary cutting safety, and pressing vs. ironing. This class is a prepatory class for the Beginning Piecing Class.
Kids Pillow Case Class
Join us for a fun beginner sewing class where kids ages 10+ will learn basic sewing skills while creating their own custom pillowcase! It's the perfect introduction to sewing, and each student will leave with a finished project and newfound confidence behind the sewing machine.
Foundation Paper Piecing Class
Learn the art of Foundation Paper Piecing and create beautifully precise quilt blocks with sharp points and intricate designs. This hands-on class will teach you the techniques needed to confidently piece complex patterns with accuracy and ease.
One on One Private Class
Receive personalized, one-on-one instruction tailored to your sewing goals! Whether you're learning how to use a new sewing, embroidery, serger, or your new Innova longarm machine, need help with a specific project, or want to master a new technique, our experienced instructors are here to help. Each private session lasts 2–3 hours and is customized to your individual needs, allowing you to learn at your own pace with hands-on guidance every step of the way.
Beginning Apparel
Learn the basics of apparel sewing in this fun, hands-on class! Whether you want to make a dress, apron, top, or other wearable project, you'll learn essential garment construction techniques while building confidence with your sewing machine. This is a two session class with each session lasting 2 hours.
Intro to Applique
Introduction to Appliqué is a class that shows the different basic techniques of machine or hand appliqué. Students will learn what tools to use to make applique easy and fun whether it is raw edge applique or turned applique.
Curved Seam Quilting
Ready to take the fear out of sewing curved seams? In this hands-on quilting and sewing class, you’ll learn techniques for accurately piecing beautiful curved quilt blocks, including tips for matching seams, managing fabric ease, and preventing puckering.
