Beginning Apparel

Beginning Apparel is the perfect class for anyone ready to start making their own clothing and wearable projects. Whether you're new to garment sewing or looking to build a strong foundation, this class will introduce you to the essential skills needed to successfully create apparel.
Students will learn how to read and understand a sewing pattern, choose the correct fabric, lay out and cut pattern pieces, and sew accurate seams. Throughout the class, our instructor will provide personalized guidance as you work through your project.
This class is ideal for beginners and those wanting to gain confidence before tackling more advanced clothing projects. By the end of class, you'll have a solid understanding of the garment sewing process and the skills needed to continue creating dresses, aprons, tops, and other handmade apparel.
Students should bring: A sewing machine in good working order, fabric, matching thread, scissors or rotary cutter, pins or clips, marking tools, measuring tape, and elastic for the pajama pants. Our instructors are happy to answer questions and help you every step of the way!
Student can choose to make pajama pants or an apron.
