Kids Pillow Case Class

Spark your child's creativity while teaching them a skill they'll use for years to come! In this fun, beginner-friendly sewing class, kids ages 10 and older will learn the basics of using a sewing machine as they create their very own colorful pillowcase to take home.

Students will gain confidence while learning essential sewing skills, including measuring, cutting, pinning, sewing straight seams, pressing, and finishing a simple project. This class is perfect for beginners or young sewists looking to build their skills in a fun and encouraging environment.

Recommended Age: 10 years and older

Skill Level: Beginner

Students Should Bring:

1 yard of main fabric
1/3 yard coordinating cuff fabric
2" x Width of Fabric coordinating accent strip (optional)
Matching thread

Skill Details:	Students will be working with instructor around the sharp rotary blade so they need to be able to listen and follow safety instructions. It would be beneficial if students knew a little about their sewing machine before they come to the class

Instructor:	Talia
Instructor Bio:	Talia is a mother that loves to sew and quilt. She has been sewing for over 10 years and has made many projects for family and friends. Her love of sewing really shines through her service and instruction to others.
