Are you brand new to sewing and would like to take a class to start off your quilting journey. Intro to quilting is the class for you. In this class we will go over setting up your sewing area, care of your machine, choosing and understanding the right fabric, needles, presser foot and thread for your project, rotary cutting safety, and pressing vs. ironing. This class is a predatory class for the Beginning Piecing Class.

We will not have a designated project for this class but we will be sewing straight stitches and zig-zag stitches so bringing your machine to class is required along with all other required materials located in the materials section below. Students should also bring their operating manual for their specific sewing machine.
