Borders, Binding, Backing, and Batting

In this class, you’ll learn everything you need to confidently choose the perfect border for your quilt—whether it’s a classic single border, a double border, a pieced design, or a more decorative finish. We’ll cover how to accurately measure for both borders and binding, along with helpful tips and tricks for attaching them with ease. You’ll also gain a better understanding of different batting options and how to select the right one to achieve the look and feel you want for your quilt.
Please bring your sewing machine, thread, and the quilt you’d like to finish with borders and binding. The instructor will guide you in choosing the best techniques for your specific machine to help you complete your project.
