This is a 4 session class
This is the perfect class for you if:
- You would love to make a quilt but don’t know where to start.
- You have made a quilt before but would love to improve your skills.
- You are intimidated by all the choices and techniques.
- You just want someone to answer your quilting questions.
The beginning quilting class is designed to help new and novice quilters gain confidence and improve their skills. Students will learn fundamental techniques and processes of making a quilt from start to finish. Class topics will include choosing fabric, rotary cutting, and piecing with a 1/4” seam. We will discuss options for quilting and finish the quilt with binding. Students will gain hands on experience while making a simple lap quilt. The class is appropriate for teenagers and adults who know how to operate a sewing machine.
After you register we will send you a fabric list for the Peaceful Lap Quilt. The pattern will be provided at the first class. Bring your sewing machine and basic sewing tools to class each week.
